GT6 Mk 2 Race Car
Car was originally built by Tom Hutchison
I paid $18,000 for it and then spent another $20,000 on it, but it has to go.
Why, because I will never race it, I can hardly get in it let alone get out.
I need the garage space.
A race car has to be used otherwise it will deteriorate.
I want to see the car on the track.

It has CAMS C.O.D papers and log book for group T so it can race with group S. Also perfect for all Triumph races. It has had a full body off rebuild, complete engine rebuild including new Accusump and Mallory MSD ignition. Completely re wired with modern fuses. That alone was $2500. 12 original Rebel wheels with wets and 2 sets of slicks. Moulds for the fibreglass bonnet and hatch.
So how much is it worth? I don’t know. I had it advertised at $28,000 with no takers so you tell me. Car is currently based in Queensland but a successful sale will include transport to NSW. Full details available on request.
Make an offer, you may be surprised.

Brian FerrabeeHi Mal, it's the Vanguard one Tom originally put in. Seems to be fine, even up here.6 hours ago
Brian FerrabeeIf it wasn't historic I would have put a pwr aluminium one in. Much better.4 hours ago

Ron Thorp has been sharing some awesome family photo's with us, here he is helping Dad adjust their AC Shelby Cobra's Webers in the late 60's... Very cool stuff from a great car loving family. :)
